Another program offered by the City to assist its local businesses is the Commercial Façade Improvement Rebate Program (CFIRP). CFIRP is designed to stimulate building improvements and upgrade the appearance of commercial properties within low-moderate income or slum/blighted areas in the City of Pomona. The face improvement rebates are provided in recognition of the extremely valuable impact these investments have on the vitality of Pomona.

The objective of the program is to encourage exterior revitalization of existing commercial structures, and the replacement o non-conforming signs. All storefront improvements must be approved by the Planning Division with final inspection by the Building and Safety Division.
